Last weekend saw the inaugural round of the 2023 British Talent Cup taking place as a support event for the British Superbikes series at Silverstone.
After a weekend with mixed weather and conditions, it was time to see the Wilson Racing team for the first time this season, equipped in a stunning range of Scimitar apparel customised specifically for motorsport.
Qualifying saw Sullivan Mounsey qualify on the front row of the grid, with Harrison Mackay in 12th and Ben Jolliffe in 18th for Race 1. Unfortunately, Mounsey was caught up in an incident that would bring out the red flag, ending Race 1 early with Mackay and Jolliffe finishing in the positions they qualified in.
Race 2 on Sunday saw all three riders finish, with Sullivan finishing in 5th (unfortunately losing a podium position on the very final corner of the race). Ben Harrison continued his consistent form by finishing in 12th, while Jolliffe picked up his first ever British Talent Cup point with a 15th place finish.
