Titans back to best, frustration for Worcester & Hereford
Only four of our teams were in action at the weekend with two enjoying impressive wins.
Rotherham Titans made it back-to-back, bonus-point wins, as they thumped Sheffield 39-14 away from home in National 2 North. Their five-try win saw them rise to 4th in the table, as they prepare for a home clash with Sheffield Tigers this Saturday.
In London & SE Division – Counties 2 Surrey, Chipstead RFC picked up a crucial 28-17 win at Old Whitgiftian, jumping to 3rd in the table and just four points behind top spot heading into this weekend’s clash at home to Old Blues.
It was a frustrating weekend for both our teams in Regional 2 West Midlands as Worcester RFC were beaten 36-27 in an entertaining contest versus table-toppers Ludlow, while Hereford RFC failed to gain ground on Ludlow at the top as Malvern came out on top 33-12 at Belvedere Lane.
Hereford will be looking to bite back this weekend away at Old Halesonians while Worcester travel to Wolverhampton.
