The weekend delivered a mixture of thrilling wins, tough defeats, and a surprising number of walkovers. Clubs across the leagues faced different fortunes, with some celebrating big victories while others endured narrow losses. The balance of results made this one of the more unpredictable weekends of the season so far.

Pontypridd suffered a setback away to Llangennech, going down 19-27 in a competitive contest. Despite their efforts, they struggled to maintain momentum in the second half. Walkovers shaped much of the weekend in the Counties divisions. Barkers Butts were awarded a home walkover against Berkswell & Balsall, while Worcester RFC also advanced with a home walkover versus Droitwich. Harborne benefitted from the same scenario in the North Plate, while East Leake moved forward with a home walkover in the North Plate’s opening round.

However, not every match was settled off the pitch. Dinnington were narrowly defeated 13-10 by Wath Upon Dearne in Counties 1 Yorkshire. It was a tight contest, decided only in the final minutes.
