Standout performances
Hereford lit up Regional 2 Midlands West with a high-tempo 44–33 home win over Old Halesowen, pulling clear with incisive phase play after the break. In the Welsh Premiership, Pontypridd controlled the decisive moments to edge Cross Keys 26–19, while Narberth combined power and pace to defeat Cardiff Met RFC 36–15. Harborne turned territory into points in a commanding 54–21 home victory against Coventry Welsh.
On the road, Birmingham & Solihull Bees prevailed 34–24 at Berkswell & Balsall, extending their unbeaten run to three and leading the league for points scored with 204 in five games. Wath Upon Dearne showed late steel to close out a 21–17 success at Dinnington, and Worcester RFC produced a ruthless 66–18 win at Manor Park, translating pressure into a torrent of second-half scores.
