Elsewhere, Ebbw Vale made it six wins on the spin as they won 36-26 at Llanelli. The result sees them sit 4th with 38 points, behind Llandovery in 3rd with 42 points. However, Llandovery’s fourth straight win means they are just 10 points (two bonus-point wins) away from Cardiff in top spot, with two games in hand.
This Thursday at 7.30pm, you can watch Llandovery live at home to Merthyr on our Facebook page by clicking here.
In England Rugby’s National 2 North, Rotherham Titans thumped Blaydon on the road 47-19, including seven tries. This Saturday will see them make the trip to Tynedale as they look to fight their way up the table, currently sitting 5th.
In Regional 2 West Midlands, both Worcester and Hereford returned to winning ways with victories over Evesham (24-21) and Droitwich (24-6) respectively. Hereford sit 5th while Worcester are 8th in the league.
In London & SE Division β Counties 2 Surrey, Chipstead comfortably beat Law Society RFC 31-5 but still find themselves 3rd in the table and seven points behind league-leaders Teddington. Chipstead are just a point behind Old Rutlishians in 2nd with a game in hand, but breathing down their necks in 4th are Purley John Fisher RFC who they travel to this Saturday.
In Counties 1 Midlands West (South), Barkers Butts were beaten 36-17 at Kidderminster and stay 8th in the log, taking on Leamington at home on Saturday.
