This June will see the Women’s Tour back in action!

Thanks to long term partners ŠKODA, the event will take place on a virtual stage thanks to a partnership between RGT Cycling and Women’s Tour organisers SweetSpot, which will be supporting the charities Breast Cancer Now and Mind, which Scimitar are proud to work closely with independently of the tour.

Scimitar is delighted to be involved in the ŠKODA V-SERIES Women’s Tour, producing elite cycling jerseys made from 100% recycled fabric for the winning team.

Our range of custom cycling kit and sustainable apparel is becoming increasingly popular in the UK cycling market amongst cycling clubs, with recent features in Road.cc and Cycling Weekly.

In terms of the virtual event, it’s due to take place between Wednesday 17 & Friday 19 June. Riders and teams from across the world will race it out over three stages on the RGT Cycling virtual platform, in the new ŠKODA V-SERIES Women’s Tour event.

Named the ‘V-SERIES’ as a nod to the virtual racing scene, the ŠKODA V-SERIES is a stand-alone event to the real-world road racing Women’s Tour event.

All the action will be broadcast live and streamed online on a variety of platforms, with racing getting underway at 19:00 BST each evening, featuring some of the world’s leading teams including Boels Dolmans, FDJ Nouvelle Aquitaine Futuroscope and Trek Segafredo competing for victory.

We can’t wait for the action to get underway!
