The Tour De Gwent is an annual sportive across the South of Wales, being held this year on the 9th April 2017.
Supporting St David’s Hospice Care, there are 5 routes available, making it an event accessible for cyclists of all experience and ability. These vary from a 20 mile midi route to a 78 mile Platinum route, all starting and finishing in Carleon.
The event costs £50 to participate in, and entries made by the 24th February will receive their exclusive Scimitar cycling jersey in time for the event, as well as an exclusive Snood when you finish the event. It gets better; Tiny Rebel Brewery will be on hand at the finish line with a pint of lager, cider or ale to all participants!
You’ll get the usual marshal support along the way as well as water and feeding stations, as well as a bike maintenance crew and recovery vehicles for your piece of mind. Before the end, you’ll receive a bespoke Training Plan provided by the infamous Rowe & King™, a plan that cashes in on the experience gained by professional cyclists Luke Rowe & Dani King MBE.
The event goes further than the sportive. Once the main event has finished (around 5pm), the Tour de Gwent organisers have arranged for a BBQ, live music, family activities and a lot more.
The views will be stunning and the ride will be incredible. Be part of this fantastic event and help raise money for a truly worth cause.
