Scimitar’s design team worked with Apollo Tyres to create an array of kit to help the team’s performance and requirements for European travel and spending a fair amount of time on the road.

From racing overalls to pit jackets and t-shirts, Scimitar produced custom kit for the whole team, as well as producing retail merchandise such as baseball caps, supporters t-shirts and branded neck warmers.

Steve Miller, Apollo UK TBR Sales Manager, explained: “Having had a number of discussions with sportswear and workwear manufacturers, we selected Scimitar for a number of reasons.

One was the account management, and another was that the quality of the product is exceptional and it fits every purpose that we want as a brand for Apollo to be able to take it forward.

“We work across the whole of Europe, so we needed workwear that would be breathable and comfortable, and would also give the image of being hardwearing and still look good at the end of a hardworking day.

“We want to show the quality of our products and as that’s the case, we need quality merchandise when we’re giving it away and Scimitar fits that perfectly in what we’re trying to achieve.”
